  • Salary range for Quality Lead is $78,000 – $90,000 / year & is based on experience

At our Cascades in Scarborough, ON you can develop your full potential, sustainably, by applying your expertise within the Containerboard Packaging division of our team as the Quality Lead:

  • Provide leadership and insight as a member of the senior management team.
  • Implementation and monitoring of the quality daily management activities in collaboration with the quality team at the group level.
  • Responsible for the implementation, monitoring, and audit of the various certifications.
  • Lead customer interaction in collaboration with internal stakeholders for the execution of customer qualifications, product qualifications and evaluation of plant improvement opportunities from the complaint management system.
  • Establish and analyze site quality objectives regarding product issues, defective materials, customer, and supplier complaints.
  • Participate in the implementation of improvement projects in collaboration with the operations team.
  • Responsible for training and awareness of staff on quality (principles, procedures, quality culture).
  • Contribute to improve the group synergy and global success through our containerboard network.

  • Experience leading and coaching teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field, course or certification in quality management, or a combination of the above.
  • 2+ years of experience with quality standards, auditing process and knowledge of industry regulations.
  • 1+ years of progressive leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to travel to our other facilities and customer sites (Canada-USA).
  • Lean Manufacturing: Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, ideal candidate will have a Black Belt or Green Belt certification.
