People & Culture Manager – Sudbury, Suffolk Industry-leading family-owned manufacturer | Autonomy, impact & variety | Permanent Part time: 18-24 hours per week (flexible) min of 3 days but can be shorter days Salary: £16.00ph – £18.00ph (£33,000- £ 37,000 per annum pro rata) Casanovas Recruitment are thrilled to partner with a successful, family-owned manufacturing business who are on the lookout for a passionate and people-focused People & Culture Manager. You’ll have real ownership and the freedom to shape the people strategy across every level of the business — from the factory floor to the boardroom. What you’ll be doing: You’ll be at the heart of all things People & Culture, championing engagement, wellbeing, and performance. Day to day, you’ll: * Lead all HR and culture initiatives across the business * Drive employee engagement, recognition, and retention programmes * Take the lead on recruitment, onboarding, and development * Support managers and directors with performance, pay reviews, and team growth * Keep policies and procedures fresh, relevant, visible and understood * Handle employee relations with empathy and professionalism * Plan creative and meaningful team-building events * Support the Directors and assist with events. * Maintain all employee records and take the lead with training records and booking relevant courses. * Shape the company’s benefits package (yes, you get to help decide what’s next!) * Promote wellbeing, positivity, and a truly supportive culture What makes you a great fit: You’re experienced in HR (although this does not necessarily need to be vast – personality is extremely important for this role and you will have access to an external HR provider if necessary) and brings warmth, energy, and a pragmatic approach to people challenges. You can balance professionalism with personality and are confident influencing at all levels. You’ll also bring: * Proven experience in a generalist HR role (stand-alone experience ideal) * A good working knowledge of UK employment law * High integrity and exceptional communication skills * A genuine passion for people, culture, and continuous improvement Location & Perks: Based at the company’s Head Office and Factory in Sudbury, Suffolk, with occasional visits to the London office.
