We are looking for a proactive and reliable Payroll Administrator to join this company's growing team within a friendly, professional, and supportive accountancy practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with numbers and systems, takes pride in ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Main areas of responsibility:- Process accurate payrolls for clients using electronic payroll software
- Liaise with clients and colleagues to confirm payroll data and resolve queries
- Ensure timely compliance with all legal, contractual, and reporting obligations
- Provide high-quality internal and external reporting to set deadlines
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships
- Attend client meetings and handle telephone enquiries professionally
- Contribute positively to the wider team and practice operations
- Participate in ongoing CPD and keep up to date with regulatory changes
- Support other duties aligned with payroll and general practice functions
- Currently undertaking or holding Payroll Administrator Level 3 qualification
- Experience in an Accountancy Practice would be desirable
- Solid understanding of payroll processes, legislation, and terminology
- Strong administrative, analytical, and IT skills
