An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy and supportive HR team on a temporary basis for approximately 2-3 months. This role is ideal for an HR professional with strong employee relations experience who enjoys partnering with managers to deliver practical, proactive HR support. The successful candidate must be available to start at short notice and be able to attend the office in Letchworth Garden City 1-2 days per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures and employment legislation.
- Support managers with employee relations matters including misconduct, capability, performance management and absence management.
- Advise managers throughout the recruitment process, including job profiling, advertising vacancies and selection methods.
- Build effective relationships with managers, providing proactive support on workforce planning, recruitment and learning and development.
- Attend management meetings and contribute HR expertise to organisational projects and initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with employee representatives and trade unions where appropriate.
