We are seeking a motivated and proactive HR Business Partner, who has ideally worked within the educational sector to join our client’s central HR team. This is a newly created role, offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional to shape and develop the position while supporting multiple sites within a growing organisation.
You will work closely with senior leadership teams, providing high-quality, pragmatic HR advice and support across the full employee lifecycle. Experience within the education sector is not essential; however, a strong interest in learning and adapting HR practice to this unique environment is required.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional HR advice and guidance to leaders and managers across the full employee lifecycle
- Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and absence management cases
- Support people managers with effective workforce planning, capability development, and engagement initiatives
- Build strong working relationships with leadership teams across multiple sites
- Contribute to the development and centralisation of HR processes and services
- Ensure HR policies and practices are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation
- Support change management initiatives and organisational development projects
- Share best practice and support HR initiatives across multiple sites as required
- Essential:
- Proven experience in a generalist HR role, ideally at HR Advisor or HR Business Partner level
- Strong working knowledge of employment law and employee relations
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work autonomously
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach
- Desirable:
- CIPD qualification or working towards
- Experience supporting multiple sites or complex organisations
- Interest in working within the education sector
- Based at a central office with regular travel to a secondary site
- Full-time, year-round role (not term-time only)
- Some flexibility for remote working, subject to operational requirements
