What You'll Be Doing

People Leadership & Culture

• Lead all aspects of the employee journey, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, performance management, and retention.
• Build and nurture a positive, high-performing workplace culture.
• Champion company values and ensure they are embedded across the business.
• Manage employee relations matters professionally and fairly.
• Drive initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing, engagement, and collaboration.

Business & Operational Leadership

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring efficiency and consistency across all functions.
• Translate business priorities into actionable plans and deliver measurable results.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement processes that support sustainable growth.
• Drive accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across teams.

Performance & Commercial Focus

• Establish and lead a structured performance management framework.
• Chair and facilitate regular meetings to review business performance and progress.
• Monitor KPIs and ensure teams remain focused on delivering results.
• Support commercial objectives by aligning people and operational strategies with business growth plans.

Learning & Development

• Design and implement training and development programmes.
• Develop clear career pathways and progression opportunities.
• Support succession planning and future leadership development.
• Identify skills gaps and create solutions that enhance business performance.

Growth & Change Management

• Support business expansion through effective operational planning.
• Lead change initiatives and ensure teams remain engaged throughout periods of growth and transformation.
• Foster a culture that embraces innovation and continuous improvement.

Health, Safety & Compliance

• Lead and maintain health and safety compliance across the organisation.
• Ensure policies, procedures, and risk management processes are up to date.
• Promote a proactive safety-first culture and employee wellbeing.

What We're Looking For

CIPD Level 5 qualified (or equivalent experience)

Proven experience in a senior People, HR, Operations, or Business Leadership role

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams

Experience driving operational performance and business improvements

Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

Commercial awareness and a results-focused mindset

Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practice

A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to influence at all levels
