As our Hairdresser, you will be responsible for ensuring that when our residents visit our in-house salon, they are given all possible choices of a wash, cut, colour, and styling. You will get to know their care needs and keep up to date with any changes to ensure that residents are kept happy and safe during their visit. You will interact with our residents throughout their visit, being friendly, caring, and kind while respecting their dignity at all times.
Other important responsibilities include:
- Keeping the salon clean, tidy, and safe
- Ensuring towels are given to our laundry team when the salon closes
- Reporting any faulty equipment to the home manager
- Keeping supplies stocked by filling in purchase requests when needed
