Casa do Frango is rooted in the food and culture of Portugal, inspired by co-founder Marco's upbringing around fire-cooking, family meals and trips to the local food markets. Casa means home, and that sense of generosity runs through everything from the kitchen to the welcome at the door. With three locations, London Bridge, Mayfair and Victoria, each critically acclaimed for its piri-piri chicken and welcoming, buzzy atmosphere, we're looking for a Restaurant Manager to lead the floor at Casa Mayfair.

This role exists to make sure every guest at Casa Mayfair has a great time, and that the team looking after them feels well trained, well led and set up to succeed. You'll be hands-on with dining room operations before, during and after service, from team briefings to looking after guests and VIP requests, across a busy site that includes a 125-cover dining room, a 100-cover event space and bar, two private dining rooms and a summer terrace, welcoming around 1,300 guests a week.

This role would suit someone who has managed a busy dining room before and takes real pride in doing things properly. It could suit candidates from full-service restaurant, hotel food and beverage, or high-volume hospitality backgrounds who love food, drink and hospitality. This is a hands-on, floor-facing leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee dining room operations before, during and after service.
  • Manage, train and develop the dining room team.
  • Recruit, onboard and support new starters.
  • Deliver regular team briefings and ongoing training.
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints and VIP requests.
  • Work with the kitchen and wider team to drive covers and maximise revenue.
  • Keep an eye on the numbers that matter, like guest satisfaction and spend per head.
  • Keep the floor clean, tidy and ready for service at all times.
  • Make sure every guest leaves happy, visit after visit.
  • Think on your feet and adapt quickly and calmly during service.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who leads from the front and enjoys the buzz of a busy dining room. You will bring:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a senior hospitality leadership role.
  • A track record of managing and training dining room teams.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication, both with guests and with the team.
  • A background in recruiting, onboarding and developing team members.
  • Confidence handling guest feedback and VIP requests with a calm, professional touch.
  • Quick thinking and composure, whatever service throws at you.
  • A willingness to work flexible hours in a fast-paced environment.
  • A positive, welcoming attitude that sets the tone for the room.

What We Offer

  • 50% team discount across all MJMK restaurants.
  • Up to 500 team referral bonus.
  • Opportunity to grow within one of London's most ambitious hospitality groups.
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay after one year with us.
  • Paid company sick pay after one year, up to 5 days.
  • Extra day's holiday every year you're with us, up to 5 extra days.
  • Mental health and well-being assistance via Hospitality Action, offering free advice and counselling.
  • Enhanced pension contributions after 5 years with us.
  • Anniversary reward scheme for every year you're with us.

About MJMK Restaurants

MJMK Restaurants owns and operates a collection of award-winning restaurants. Founded in 2018 by lifelong friends Jake Kasumov and Marco Mendes, our journey began with Casa do Frango. In 2020, we partnered with chef patron Santiago Lastra to open KOL, a restaurant in Marylebone celebrating Mexican cuisine with British ingredients. KOL has since earned a Michelin star and been named one of the World's 50 Best Restaurants. 2024 saw two new ventures: Fonda, a contemporary Mexican concept in Mayfair, our second collaboration with Santiago Lastra, and AngloThai in Marylebone, a debut restaurant from husband-and-wife John and Desiree Chantarasak, blending Thai flavours with British ingredients. Within three months of opening, AngloThai earned a Michelin star. In the 2025 National Restaurant Awards, AngloThai was named The Square Opening of the Year and ranked 7th in the Top 100 list, followed by KOL at number 50. Luso, a contemporary Portuguese restaurant in Fitzrovia, opened in September 2025. We're building ambitious restaurant brands with a focus on quality, creativity and guest experience, and we're just getting started.
