Weβre looking for a Commercial Manager to join our recently launched homeware and interior brand, Casa by Josephine Jenno. We aim for our curated, eclectic range to inspire customers to inject personality and interest into their homes.
You will work directly with the founder to help scale the business in its early years. The role requires someone who is highly organized, proactive, and strategic to ensure projects and teams are set up for success.
Key Role Responsibilities
- Oversee budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing.
- Guide the team by setting priorities and developing strategies to identify low-margin and low-growth products.
- Conduct detailed analyses of projects and report on issues and findings from both a commercial and financial perspective.
- Manage the relationship with our 3PL.
- Optimize operational processes and implement improvement initiatives.
- Build financial forecasts and collaborate with the junior buyer to ensure stock is bought to optimize holding and cash flow.
- Partner with the team to minimize our carbon footprint.
- Work with our digital agency to provide feedback, insights, and learnings.
- Assist with recruiting when necessary.
- Ensure the company remains legally compliant.
Experience We Are Looking For
- At least 8 years of management experience, preferably in a DTC business or similar relevant experience.
- Commercially astute with the ability to find solutions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Analytical mindset with a logical approach and data-driven decision-making.
Nice to Have
- Experience in funding.
