Immediate Start | Full-Time | Croydon | Monday to Friday

We are Casa Argentina, a growing, values-led food business based in Croydon, and we are looking for a Warehouse Operative / Assistant to join our super dedicated team immediately. We import, distribute and promote high-quality Argentine food and drink across the UK, serving online customers, retail customers, restaurants, wholesalers and food businesses. That means our warehouse is not just a place where boxes move from A to B. It is where promises are kept. Every order picked, packed, checked, labelled and dispatched properly matters. Every customer is relying on us. Every mistake costs time, money, trust and reputation. So we are not looking for “just anyone”. We are looking for the right person. Someone with an amazing attitude. Someone responsible. Someone reliable. Someone who cares. Someone who takes pride in doing things properly, even when nobody is watching.

The Role

  • Working as part of our warehouse team, helping with the day-to-day operation of our Croydon warehouse.
  • Picking and packing customer orders accurately.
  • Checking products carefully before dispatch.
  • Labelling and preparing parcels and pallets.
  • Supporting stock rotation and stock control (FIFO).
  • Loading and unloading deliveries.
  • Receiving and inspecting incoming deliveries.
  • Keeping the warehouse clean, safe and organised.
  • Supporting chilled, frozen and ambient product handling.
  • Helping the team meet daily dispatch deadlines.
  • Following food safety, hygiene and warehouse procedures.
  • Working with care, urgency and attention to detail.
  • Completing necessary documentation to maintain operational standards.

Some days will be busy. Some days will be physically demanding. Some days will require you to go the extra mile. That is why attitude matters so much to us.

The Person We Are Looking For:

  • You must be someone who naturally shares our core values:
    • Care & Deliver: You care about your work and you work hard to get things done properly.
    • Keep Our Word: You do what you say you will do, when you say you will do it.
    • One Team: You support your teammates and understand that no job is “beneath you”.
    • Open & Approachable: You communicate clearly, respectfully and honestly.
    • Respect Always: You respect people, products, equipment, the workplace and the customer.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A responsible and reliable attitude.
  • Excellent timekeeping.
  • World-Class attention to detail.
  • The ability to work really well as part of a small team.

  • You are looking for “just a job”.
  • You need constant supervision to get things done.
  • You often run late.
  • You dislike physical work.
  • You do not like following processes.
  • You bring drama, excuses or negativity into the workplace.
  • You think warehouse work is just about moving boxes.

We are a small, growing business. Every person matters. Every attitude spreads. Every role has an impact.
