Overview

Salary: £23,200 (14 hours per week over two days, 0900 – 1700)

Essential Car User Allowance: £1,500

Workplace pension is available on completion of probation period. The Association also offers flexible benefits including private healthcare provision.

Responsibilities

  • Play a key role in the Senior Management Team, responsible for all aspects to maintain the Association portfolio of properties to the highest possible standards within the Association policies and resources, and to provide an efficient and responsive service to tenants.
  • Oversee an approved list of contractors to ensure performance is appropriate.
  • Manage the day-to-day repairs, major repairs and planned maintenance budgets.
  • Manage the annual inspection of the Association properties, develop and manage the planned maintenance programme, identify and project manage and programme all major repairs and stock reinvestment programmes.
  • Assist and prepare tender specifications for major projects.
  • Be responsible for pre- and post-inspections of works; ensure that the stock condition database is maintained and updated; prepare performance reports.
  • Undertake building surveys and diagnose building defects, specify and administer required remedial works and be responsible for void specifications.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Applicants must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • An enhanced DBS check is required.
