Role Overview
The Senior BI Analyst will take ownership of company-wide reporting and analytics, fostering a metrics-driven culture that promotes accountability across teams. This pivotal role will provide insights to leadership and empower Sales, Finance, Go-to-Market (GTM), Revenue Operations, and Support teams to make informed decisions. This is not just a reporting role; it demands an inquisitive mindset, delivering actionable recommendations and collaborating to shape business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and manage KPIs across departments to drive alignment and performance.
- Deliver actionable insights to the executive team, including VPs and C-suite stakeholders.
- Enable teams across Sales, Finance, and GTM to make data-driven decisions that optimise their strategies.
- Analyse business-wide operations, recommend improvements and identify key metrics to drive success.
- Develop clear and impactful visualisations in Metabase to communicate insights effectively.
About You
The ideal candidate is commercially minded, collaborative, and thrives on finding opportunities for improvement. They should be curious, strategic, and confident in making recommendations to stakeholders at all levels.
Technical Expertise:
- Advanced SQL skills (SQL joins, Window Functions, etc.)
- Proficiency in data visualisation tools (Tableau, Looker, Metabase, Power BI, etc).
- Experience with DBT or working with complex datasets is a plus.
Strategic Business Acumen:
- Proven experience in a business-focused analytics role, ideally within B2B environments.
- Ability to go beyond descriptive analytics, identifying key metrics and actionable insights.
Leadership Collaboration:
- Experience working closely with senior stakeholders, including finance and sales leadership.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present data clearly and effectively.
