Due to our continued growth we are excited to recruiting for a Strategic Healthcare Development Manager in the Northwest of England. The will be a hybrid role with mainly home working, but with visits to clients and other colleagues required as necessary in performance of the role. Rewards package: Salary ยฃ60,000 -ยฃ70,000 per annum, negotiable subject to qualifications and experience. Discretionary 10% annual bonus. 33 days of annual leave p.a. (including UK statutory bank holidays;) rising every 2 years to a maximum of 36 days p.a. Contributory pension scheme-5% employer contributions. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be able to take a central role leading on designated projects โ managing health planning strategic projects, and business case development, maintaining high standards of operation and delivery that are in line with CGS aims and objectives. Key outputs of the role will include, but not be limited to: Health Planning E states strategies across acute, primary care and community services Demand and Capacity modelling (demographics and population health analysis) โ and demand trends assessment for workforce and infrastructure/asset planning. Space planning and design improvements โ able to advise on operational efficiencies and utilization studies . Leading on delivery of stakeholder workshops and engagement, clinical and operational meetings at all levels. Strategic Advisory โ Providing a Clinical approach to transformation. Provide advice on service redesign for developing efficient transformation and support for resource/workforce modelling. Deliver operational service reviews and provide advice on optimisation. Undertake feasibility studies and strategic planning for ICBs and Trusts. Accredited Business Cases Development Develop project briefs with the Client and key stakeholders. Develop feasibility and strategic outline cases and options appraisals through stakeholder workshops and engagement. Overseeing production and submission of the Business Cases in accordance with the Department of Health Business case guidance and the requirements of the client. Conduct thorough and robust QA reviews to ensure that any outstanding information is identified and addressed. Identify any gaps required to develop the case to the next stage and assist the Client in providing these. Assisting the Client with the development of the Estates Annex including identifying any gaps that need to be completed. Support the overall governance structure for the project, including relevant meetings and reporting against the programme. Manage liaison between the stakeholders to ensure that necessary elements of the project are signed off in accordance with the current D of H business case guidance. Arrange, chair and minute regular progress/stakeholder meetings. Manage CGS resources within budget and report progress monthly through line management. Understands high level models of care and NHSE structures, Demonstrate knowledge of the factors that may impact or influence business case approval. Monitor and refine business cases as circumstances and factors change, including implementing clear change control processes. Project and programme management Able to lead on projects providing health planning support between clinical, capital and planning teams and providing operational support for projects as required. Development of project mobilisation plans and operational transition planning. Identify and manage the project risk register, progress, and any key risks to delivery with robust risk management processes and controls. Provide regular updates on project budgets and resource requirements. KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE Experience of working within Strategic Advisory and/or Health Planning with evidence of delivery of leading health projects. Confirmation of Business Case development, within the healthcare sector A good understanding of the health and social care environment and roles and responsibilities within it. The ability to deal effectively and diplomatically with a wide range of stakeholders and situations is essential. Demonstrated experience of co-ordinating/supporting fee proposals and the development of tender submissions. Demonstrate commercial awareness with an ability to apply this in practice. Effective time management skills to plan and manage your own workload in accordance with project budgets. Understanding of latest technology, innovation and best practice and ability to apply them in practice to achieve efficiency.
