We are seeking a skilled and reliable Steelwork Fabricator / Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in fabrication, specifically within the steelwork or construction industry. This role requires a strong focus on safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Working within the Rail, Highways and Construction industry.
- Fabricating heavy steel work fabrications to a high standard.
- Working from engineering drawings.
- Producing bespoke products for the heavy steel industry.
- Confident plater or fabricator, 5+ years experience preferred.
- Ideally apprentice trained or relevant qualifications.
- Confident MIG Welder.
- Experience operating fabrication machinery.
- Must have worked within a heavy steel industry.
- Confident working from engineering drawings from scratch.
Working Conditions:
The role involves working in an industrial setting, which may include exposure to loud noise, dust, and varying weather conditions. Physical stamina is essential as the role involves manual labour and extended periods of standing.
Pay range: Subject to shift pattern – Monday to Friday 8 hour shift with overtime and weekends available. 24 days annual leave.
