Carv is on a mission to unlock the enjoyment of better skiing. We use AI, real-time feedback, and sensor-driven data to help skiers measure technique and coach them to improve. Our team is building industry-pioneering hardware and software that bridges the gap between technology and human performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, develop and integrate new sensors or embedded technology into our core product.
  • Build and test prototypes using promising new technologies which could allow us to improve the product.
  • Supervise and optimise areas of the manufacturing process related to embedded systems, for example automatic testing equipment or production firmware.
  • Collaborate within the Hardware and Product teams to integrate electronics and firmware with the mechanical and software parts of the product.
  • Work with the Customer Success team in identifying and debugging electronics and firmware related product issues.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 4 years of experience in electronics or embedded systems.
  • A passionate skier; beginner skiers welcome.
  • Relentless bias for action.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Experience designing and prototyping electronics products from concept through to schematic design, layout and manufacturing.
  • Experience developing and deploying firmware for Nordic nRF series microcontrollers.
  • Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy communications.
  • Experience debugging embedded systems and use of associated tools.
