We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Restaurant Manager to join an award-winning Michelin-starred restaurant. This is a rare opportunity to become part of a team renowned for attentive service and award-winning food made with the highest quality ingredients from their local area and further afield.

About the Restaurant: Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, you will be joining a passionate team on an ambitious journey toward earning a second Michelin star. This restaurant is celebrated for its seasonal tasting menus, meticulous attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to the guest experience. Renowned for modern food which is technical and meaningful. The Michelin Guide said the dishes demonstrate: 'a natural simplicity that allows every ingredient on the plate to shine'.

The Role: As Restaurant Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the front of house, ensuring seamless service and exceptional guest experiences across a 45-cover restaurant. You will work closely with the Chef Patron and Head Chef to maintain the highest standards of hospitality and lead, mentor, and motivate a team of passionate professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate all front-of-house operations
  • Deliver and maintain world-class service standards in line with Michelin expectations
  • Lead, train, and inspire FOH staff to exceed guest expectations
  • Oversee reservations, guest relations, and dining room logistics
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure flawless service flow
  • Monitor inventory, budgets, and cost controls
  • Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement

About You:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a managerial role within a Michelin-starred environment. Assistant Restaurant Managers will be considered who are looking to step up.
  • Deep understanding of luxury service standards and guest engagement
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Confident and calm under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
  • A passion for food, wine, and the art of hospitality
  • Flexible schedule, with the restaurant being closed on Tuesday and Wednesday as well as Monday and Thursday lunch times.
