Location: Llantwit Major, Vale of Glamorgan

Hours: From 10 up to 40 hours

Salary: £12.74 per hour and sleep-in shifts at £60 per night; travel expenses paid at 45p per mile

Contract: Permanent

What you’ll be doing: You’ll play a key role in helping shape and build this new care and support service from the ground up. You’ll be supporting four individuals in their own home, each with different needs and personalities. This includes supporting one person who experiences OCD and another who requires some personal care. Your goal is to make every day remarkable through enhancing well-being and focusing on the small, meaningful moments that bring joy and purpose.

Who we are looking for: No experience is required as full training is provided. We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • have patience and empathy
  • can support a person with their intimate personal care with respect and dignity
  • have strong communication and teamwork skills
  • are able to speak on behalf of others as well as to a range of professional people
  • have good written skills and the ability to record events with empathy and meaning
