Base pay: £12.74 per hour, sleep‑in shifts £60 per night, travel expenses paid 45p per mile.
Position Overview
As a Support Worker in Carmarthen, you’ll help make the everyday remarkable for the people we support. We are dedicated to supporting those with learning disabilities to live a fulfilled and enriched life in the community.

Location: Carmarthen
Hours: 20 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

Your Role
In this rewarding and varied role, you’ll be part of the Sessional Services team in Carmarthen, providing flexible support that meets each person’s needs and preferences. This includes assistance with budgeting, shopping, tenancy management, accessing appointments and social activities, and where needed, support with personal care. You may also work across:
- Lifeline Day Service – structured, skills‑based day service to build independence.
- On Demand Service – responsive support with phone calls, home visits, and community support.
- Supported Living Service – 24/7 support in independent accommodation.
Qualifications & Skills
- No experience required—full training provided.
- Patience and empathy.
- Ability to support intimate personal care with respect and dignity.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to speak on behalf of others and to professional people.
- Good written skills and ability to record events with empathy.
- Full driving licence – essential for transporting individuals.
