Overview

Cartonage Limited is an independent, high-end manufacturer of point of sale packaging. We offer our customers the full solution for bespoke folding box board products. We supply all the major retailers with sleeves & cartons for chilled, ambient & frozen products.

Purpose

Assistant in the Finishing Dept

Responsibilities

  • Using the equipment provided, manually remove integral waste from pallets of folding box board flat printed sheets.
  • Assist in feeding and operation of folder / gluer machines.
  • Carry out quality checks of glued sleeves/cartons.
  • Packing of finished product.
  • Updating & preserving the accuracy of the computerised and manual production system.
  • Keep all work & storage areas clean, tidy and well-ordered.
  • Make certain that activities are carried out adhering to Health & Safety, COSHH, Fire Regulations, BRC Quality & Systems Procedures and FSC & PEFC regulations.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Previous experience/background in a packaging environment.
  • Possess high levels of accuracy, & attention to detail.
  • Good general education and an equal level of intelligence.
  • Basic computer input skills.
