We are looking for a motivated Welder to cut, align, and join metals for an engineering team in Sparkford. Working with stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium, you will take parts from technical drawings and turn them into completed assemblies. This role offers steady daytime hours, an early finish on Fridays, and excellent overtime potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminium; cut and align components using powered saws.
- Read technical engineering drawings to build assemblies and update completion logs accurately via the internal ERP system.
- Set up and maintain welding equipment to safety standards while ensuring work areas remain clean and tidy.
- Safely handle materials using pallet trucks, follow Work to Lists, and collaborate with the team to improve workshop efficiency.
