Position: Toolmaker Duration: Permanent Location: Worcester Salary: £45,000 We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker, ideally someone with injection mould tool expertise and familiarity with EDM, polishing, and standard toolroom equipment. We are highly interested in individuals with extensive experience in die polishing. Key skills required for the Toolmaker vacancy: * Experience of repairing / maintaining all tooling * Operate toolroom machinery, EDM, manual machines and bench work. * You should be able to work from mechanical engineering drawings/schematics diagrams to assemble parts/machine as required. * Produce and repair jigs and fixtures * Check dimensions with measuring instruments * Support manufacturing in achieving customer satisfaction, quality and production targets * Working to health and safety standards. * Organised & working to a high standard, keeping work area clean and tidy. * Relevant mechanical engineering qualifications HND/HNC/apprenticeship or industry experience. * Be tenacious and be able to demonstrate out of box thinking ability to find solutions. * Able to work in a team environment or on your own. * To be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
