Shifts: Mon–Fri (Day Shifts)

Hours: 40 hours/week + Overtime

We are looking for an organised, detail-oriented Stores Operative to join a fast-paced engineering and production team in Sparkford. Managing raw materials, components, and finished goods, you will oversee stock control, goods in/out, and internal distribution to keep production running seamlessly. This role offers steady hours, active workshop involvement, and excellent team support.

Key Responsibilities of the Stores Operative:

  • Receive, unload, inspect, and log incoming deliveries against purchase orders; package and dispatch outgoing goods safely.
  • Book stock in/out accurately using the company ERP system, conducting routine cycle counts and inventory audits to maintain stock accuracy.
  • Load, unload, and store sheet materials and components; kit parts for assembly and deliver materials directly to production lines using forklifts/pallet trucks.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to strictly managed H&S guidelines and safe manual handling practices.
