We are currently seeking an experienced Control Panel Wirer for an immediate start on a 3-month temporary assignment, with the possibility of extension or becoming permanent for the right individual. This role is focused on control panel wiring within a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Wiring and assembling industrial control panels from electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Building panels to a high standard of quality and accuracy
- Terminating cables, including the use of bootlace ferrules, crimp terminals, and lugs
- Cable routing, trunking, and looming within control cabinets
- Performing point-to-point wiring and neat, structured panel layouts
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and wiring schedules
- Carrying out basic testing and continuity checks on completed panels
- Maintaining a clean and organised build area
