Location: Coventry (UK-wide travel as required)

Our client is a well-established and highly regarded provider of advanced manufacturing solutions, supporting customers across precision engineering, aerospace, automotive and general manufacturing. We are now looking to appoint a commercially driven Business Development Manager to support continued growth across both CNC machine tools and integrated automation solutions.

The Role of Business Development Manager:

  • New business development

You will work across a diverse portfolio including:

  • CNC machine tool sales
  • Machine tending solutions
  • Automated inspection systems
  • Bespoke automation projects

The role offers the opportunity to engage with customers from initial enquiry through to solution development, combining technical understanding with commercial ownership.

Key Responsibilities of Business Development Manager:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across key manufacturing sectors
  • Engage with customers to understand production challenges and requirements
  • Propose integrated solutions across CNC and automation offerings
  • Support the development of technical and commercial proposals
  • Build long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
  • Collaborate internally with applications, engineering and leadership teams
