We are looking for a high-performing Automation Sales Manager to drive the growth of an advanced portfolio of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive the growth and market penetration of a world-class AGV and AMR portfolio across your designated territory.
- Develop relationships with major enterprise customers, from operational and warehouse leaders through to C-suite decision-makers.
- Visit customer sites to understand workflows, operational challenges and automation opportunities.
- Develop and present bespoke robotic solutions, supported by clear and compelling ROI and business-case models.
- Identify new business opportunities while developing and expanding existing customer relationships.
- Take ownership of the full sales cycle, from initial engagement and solution development through to tender, negotiation and contract execution.
- Manage complex tenders and commercial negotiations, ensuring opportunities are progressed effectively through to close.
- Ensure a smooth transition from the sales process into project delivery and customer onboarding.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the evolving warehouse automation, AGV and AMR market, identifying new opportunities and industry trends.
- What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in automation sales, ideally within mobile automation, AGVs, AMRs, warehouse automation or logistics technology.
- A strong track record in solution-based or consultative selling, ideally involving complex technical solutions.
- Experience managing long sales cycles and high-value capital equipment or automation projects.
- Confident engaging with stakeholders at all levels, from warehouse and operations managers through to senior executives and C-suite.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation and commercial skills.
- The ability to understand customer challenges and translate them into commercially compelling automation solutions.
- A commercially driven, organised and self-motivated approach, with a genuine desire to exceed ambitious targets.
- Comfortable working autonomously in a home-based, customer-facing role.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to work effectively with engineering and technical teams.
