Job Description: KS2 Subject Lead - SEN School - East Sussex
We are looking for a confident KS2 Teacher to join a specialist SEN school in East Sussex, with the opportunity to take the lead on a subject area alongside your classroom teaching.
This would suit a teacher who enjoys working in a smaller, specialist environment and wants to make the curriculum accessible and engaging for pupils with additional needs.
The role includes:
- Teaching across KS2 within an SEN setting
- Leading a chosen subject area across the school
- Adapting lessons to meet individual needs
- Working with pupils with a range of additional needs
- Working closely with support staff and the wider SEN team
You may have experience working within an SEN school already, or be a mainstream teacher looking to move into specialist education.
Location: East Sussex
Hours: Full-time
Start: Immediate / January opportunities
Salary will be determined by the successful candidate's qualifications and relevant experience, and will be in accordance with the client's pay policy.
