We’re working with a large, well-established organisation looking to appoint a Financial Accountant on a fixed-term basis to support their Financial Control & Accounting function. This role sits within a high-performing finance team and will focus on ensuring accurate period-end reporting, balance sheet integrity, and maintaining a strong financial control environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely period-end accounting
- Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Produce variance analysis vs budget/forecast
- Support continuous improvement across reporting and controls
- Partner with wider finance and operational teams
What we’re looking for:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Strong experience in financial reporting and reconciliations
- SAP experience essential
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data analysis)
- Good understanding of VAT / corporate tax
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
