An established, large international organisation is seeking a qualified Senior Systems Accountant to take ownership of its Unit4 ERP v7 Cloud finance system. This is a hands-on role focused on long-term system administration, optimisation, and business-as-usual support, not implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as Unit4 Super User and finance system owner
- Manage configuration, coding structures, workflows, security roles, and integrations
- Oversee updates, testing cycles, and system performance
- Provide day-to-day user support and resolve system issues
- Drive automation and process improvements
- Ensure data integrity, strong financial controls, and audit readiness
- Build and maintain financial reports (e.g., Power BI, Excelerator)
- Support month-end and year-end reporting
- Liaise with Finance, IT, and external system vendors
Requirements
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent)
- Strong hands-on experience with Unit4 ERP v7 Cloud (financial modules)
- Proven experience administering and optimising ERP systems in a live finance environment
- Strong understanding of financial controls and reporting frameworks
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Vendor and SLA management experience
Based in Birmingham. Occasional travel may be required. Subject to satisfactory background checks.
