We are a leading food manufacturing business, committed to delivering the highest standards of quality, food safety, and product integrity. We’re looking for a Quality Assurance Supervisor / Team Leader to lead our QA team, maintain compliance with regulatory and customer standards, and drive continuous improvement across our site. This is a key role in promoting a quality-first culture and ensuring all products meet our exacting standards.
What You’ll Do:
- Supervise and coach the QA team to ensure consistent high-quality output.
- Lead investigations into non-conformances and implement corrective actions (CAPA).
- Perform root cause analysis using FMEA, 5 Whys, and Fishbone diagrams.
- Conduct risk assessments and monitor raw materials, packaging, and production.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal, customer, and third-party audits.
- Drive process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and enhance product quality.
- Ensure all aspects of food safety, legality, quality, and product authenticity are observed.
What We’re Looking For:
- GCSEs or equivalent; HACCP Level 3 and Food Safety Level 3.
- Previous experience in food manufacturing and supervising a team.
- Strong knowledge of quality processes, food safety standards, and operational procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and analytical thinking.
- Ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
