Carter Rolan Group are seeking an accomplished Group Finance Director to lead and shape the financial strategy for a diverse group of manufacturing businesses. This is a pivotal role that combines strategic oversight with operational responsibility, ensuring the Group’s finances are robust, compliant, and aligned with long-term growth objectives. The successful candidate will act as a trusted advisor to the executive team, providing insight and guidance across all divisions while driving financial performance and operational efficiency.
The role requires a proactive, hands-on leader capable of managing complex multi-site operations, integrating financial governance across the Group, and delivering timely, accurate reporting to support critical business decisions. Key Responsibilities- Lead the Group’s finance function, providing strategic direction and operational oversight across all divisions.
- Ensure robust financial governance, compliance, and risk management processes are in place.
- Deliver high-quality, accurate reporting, including management accounts, forecasts, and strategic financial analysis.
- Partner with operational leaders to optimize cost structures, investment decisions, and capital allocation.
- Manage lender and investor relationships, overseeing complex financing arrangements and capital structures.
- Drive finance transformation initiatives, streamlining processes and implementing best practice systems.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and development for a high-performing finance team across multiple sites.
