Senior Technical & Compliance Lead in London

We are currently supporting a great client of ours in finding a Senior Technical & Compliance Lead to join their team. The successful candidate will have hard fm experience, with strong commercial building services experience and the relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications to work safely and effectively within a critical environment. The Role Working as part of a professional engineering team, you will act as a single point of accountability for technical assurance, QHSE and compliance throughout the account. You'll protect BAU operations and workplace experience during project delivery across X3 buildings and oversee re-stacking, various fit-outs and refreshes of both M&E Plant and internal office space. Key Responsibilities * Technical & compliance assurance across design, delivery and handover of the account * Supporting commissioning, witnessing and handover of projects to Technical FM team, PMO and Stakeholders including witnessing, snagging and defects management * Ensure that all relevant data, information, drawings and records handed over from the Project are channelled to the relevant team * To identify, reduce and manage all risks (technical, statutory, health and safety, commercial or otherwise) associated with the account, including regular reviews and audits to ensure statutory, policy and contractual commitments are met throughout the programme * To conduct regular reviews of operating procedures and subcontractor’s activities, making recommendations for improvement with appropriate working practices and emergency/contingency procedures within the critical systems * Ensure compliance with the companies management policies and procedures * Delivering effective business communication through advice, review, leadership and direct contribution to all required meetings, briefings, consultation forums and ad-hoc reporting as appropriate * Managing the capturing and uploading of new assets to IFM Hub as required * Manage and update Forward Maintenance Registers and Risk Registers, relaying relevant information to the client * Coordinate and ensure operational coordination & logistical support between the client team and your company to support the delivery of the projects * Provide Input to develop infrastructure LCAM strategies that align to the account * Accountable for provision of building records, drawings and performance data as requested / required Requirements * Recognised apprenticeship, HNC/ONC Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent * 5+ years’ experience of working within a Hard Services led environment * Knowledge of Industry best practices * Experience of managing / controlling high-risk activities such as complex switching operations, working on pressure systems and confined space entry * Strong organisational and communication skills with the ability to lead, motivate and direct a team and prioritise workloads * Ability to work under pressure whilst remaining calm, clear thinking and able to deliver the required services to the client within given time constraints * Composed and Confident with Audiences at all Levels * Strong Presentation Ability * Adaptable and Reactive to Change Package * £70,000 basic salary (+ car allowance) * 25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) * Hybrid working model (X3 days on site) * Ongoing training and development opportunities
