Senior Business Development Executive - Life Sciences

This Senior Business Development Executive role sits within the leading law firm and will join the Life Sciences team and working closely with the BD Manager and lawyers across all offices. This is a proactive, client-facing role where you’ll support the execution of sector strategy, contribute to business development initiatives, and help drive marketing campaigns aligned with firmwide goals.

You’ll play a key role in understanding the Life Sciences sector and the firm\’s client base, identifying opportunities for collaboration and ensuring initiatives are well-coordinated. Your responsibilities will include managing stakeholder relationships, mentor junior team members, and providing cover for the BD Manager when needed. You’ll also support the management of key accounts and strategic growth clients, ensuring accurate client classification and helping to deliver tailored client development plans.

In addition, you’ll contribute to high-quality bids and marketing materials, using sector insights to shape compelling content. You’ll help manage the BD budget and resources, while also raising the firm’s profile through events, sponsorships, social media, and internal communications. Ensuring brand consistency, CRM accuracy, and effective use of digital platforms will also be part of your remit, along with supporting lawyers in maintaining up-to-date website content and engaging with relevant membership organisations.

The successful candidate will have business development experience, sat in Life Science in a legal and/or professionals services experience.
