This role is positioned in a leading law firm, to join a re‑shaped, high‑performing business development and marketing operations function. This team delivers integrated marketing, digital services, client relationship management and business development expertise across the organisation. In this role, you will support senior stakeholders within a diverse Advisory Services division, helping to drive growth, client acquisition, revenue generation and strategic marketing initiatives. You will play a key part in delivering innovative, insight‑led business development activity aligned to the firm’s wider commercial objectives. The Advisory Services division is broad and fast‑moving, covering commercial, privacy, data and cybersecurity, IP, litigation, regulatory and compliance, employment and pensions. The division supports leading global brands across key sectors and is recognised for delivering industry‑leading thought leadership and legal expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Build strong understanding of the division’s clients, markets and services to help identify new opportunities.
- Support the development and delivery of business development and marketing plans.
- Coordinate and contribute to campaigns, events, thought leadership and client‑targeting initiatives.
- Produce high‑quality client collateral such as case studies, credentials and capability statements.
- Assist with bid responses and cross‑division new business opportunities.
- Prepare research and insights for client meetings in collaboration with internal data teams.
- Create and support digital content for the website and social channels.
- Maintain accurate client information within the CRM system.
- Provide e‑marketing support for events and campaigns.
- Work with client relationship teams to support key client activity.
- Build relationships with referral networks and industry bodies.
- Support awards and directory submissions.
- Contribute to wider business development projects as needed.
Skills & Experience
- Previous business development or marketing experience within professional services (legal sector experience beneficial).
- Creative, innovative mindset with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches.
- Exceptional communication and writing skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Confident working with stakeholders at all levels and building credible relationships.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to connect information and people across the business.
- Commercially aware, proactive and able to demonstrate added value.
