This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BD/marketing professional to contribute to a dynamic, ambitious organisation operating at the forefront of its markets.
The Team
The Business Development and Marketing Operations function drives strategic growth through data‐led insight, digital capability and operational efficiency. The team is focused on delivering impactful marketing strategies, strengthening client relationships and identifying opportunities that support the firm\’s market ambitions.
The Division
The role sits within the Advisory Services division, a diverse and fast‐paced area covering commercial, privacy, data and cybersecurity, IP, litigation, regulatory and compliance, employment and pensions. The division works with leading global brands and produces industry‐leading thought leadership.
The Role
As Business Development Senior Executive , you will support the Senior Business Development Manager and wider BD team in delivering growth, client acquisition and revenue generation initiatives across the Advisory Services division. You will play a key role in executing integrated marketing and BD activities aligned to the firm\’s strategic objectives.
This is a hands‐on role suited to someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys contributing to meaningful, high‐impact projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop a strong understanding of the division\’s services, clients and market landscape.
Support the creation, implementation and review of BD and marketing plans.
Assist with integrated campaigns, client targeting, events, thought leadership and sponsorship activity.
Monitor and evaluate BD initiatives, providing insights and recommendations.
Produce high‐quality client collateral including credentials, case studies and capability statements.
Contribute to bid responses in collaboration with the new business team.
Support partners and fee earners with client meeting preparation and research.
Work with digital teams to develop engaging website and social media content.
Maintain accurate client information within the CRM system.
Provide e‐marketing support for events and campaigns.
Collaborate with the client relations team to support key client activity.
Build relationships with referral networks and industry bodies.
Assist with awards and directory submissions.
Contribute to ad‐hoc BD projects as required.
Skills & Experience
Previous BD/marketing experience within professional services; legal sector experience advantageous.
Strong written communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
Confident stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly.
Creative, proactive and commercially aware mindset.
Collaborative team player with the ability to connect ideas and people.
High levels of accuracy and organisational capability.
