A fast‐growing, forward‐thinking law firm is seeking an exceptional Senior Business Development Executive to join its dynamic BD & Marketing team. The BD & Marketing function is on a mission to elevate how the firm goes to market — delivering standout campaigns, strengthening operational excellence and ensuring the firm's expertise is showcased with clarity, creativity and impact. You'll be joining a collaborative, high‐performing team that values curiosity, innovation and continuous improvement.

Working closely with the BD Manager and partnering with senior stakeholders across the Corporate division, you will play a central role in driving business development activity across a broad range of practice areas, including M&A, ECM, Venture Capital, Projects & Infrastructure, Commercial, IP, Sports, Insolvency & Restructuring, Employment and Technology.

Your work will span content creation, pitching, events, campaign support, research and project management — all with the aim of strengthening client engagement, enhancing market presence and supporting strategic growth.

  • Supporting the development and delivery of business line plans aligned to firmwide strategy.
  • Maintaining and enhancing BD collateral, including credentials, presentations and capability documents.
  • Creating and managing internal project trackers, content pipelines and targeting tools.
  • Using the firm's CRM system to support BD initiatives, campaigns and events.
  • Drafting announcements, case studies and marketing content for internal and external audiences.
  • Supporting the execution of BD and marketing campaigns, including analytics and lead tracking.
  • Leading or supporting BD meetings and driving follow‐up actions.
  • Developing a deep understanding of the Corporate practice and identifying market trends and BD opportunities.
  • Managing department‐wide projects and analysing outcomes.
  • Building relationships with external suppliers and intermediaries.
  • Providing administrative support related to BD and marketing activity.
  • Supporting reporting to senior leadership on BD KPIs, including pitching, conversion, client growth and cross‐selling.
  • Contributing to strategic firmwide initiatives and improvement projects.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across BD & Marketing on priority programmes, including client development, CRM initiatives, major campaigns and firmwide events.

You will be an experienced BD professional (4–5+ years) with a background in professional services — ideally within a partnership environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a flair for creative thinking. A structured, organised working style and strong commercial awareness. Proven project management experience and a track record of delivering high‐quality outputs. Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Strong skills in Word and PowerPoint, including template development. A confident communicator with a positive work ethic, strong relationship‐building skills and a polished, professional presence. Someone who is ready to take ownership, contribute ideas and play a key role in shaping the future of BD within a growing and ambitious firm.
