A leading law firm is looking for a Business Development Executive to join their Global Client Development team. This is a great opportunity to contribute to one of their most innovative and fast‑growing practice groups, Technology, Digital, Data and IP (TDDI). Their GCD team partners with lawyers and business leaders across the firm to win new work, strengthen client relationships and deliver strategic campaigns. We take a global, integrated approach, bringing together sector and practice expertise to support the firm’s commercial goals.

In this role, you’ll work closely with colleagues, partners and knowledge lawyers to support the growth of the TDDI practice. The team advises international clients on cutting‑edge issues, from AI and emerging technologies to IP strategy, data privacy and digital transformation, so the work is varied, fast‑paced and intellectually engaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • You will play a key role in shaping and delivering BD activity for the TDDI group, including:
  • Supporting, designing and implementing BD initiatives and campaigns.
  • Managing and drafting client proposals and pitches from initial scoping to submission.
  • Coordinating directory and awards submissions, including drafting and gathering input.
  • Developing and maintaining credentials and client‑facing materials.
  • Helping to deliver flagship events such as roundtables, webinars and targeted client sessions.
  • Maintaining key BD and marketing documents and updating practice web pages.
  • Supporting CRM activity, including client targeting and managing lists in Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Monitoring market and competitor developments and sharing insights with stakeholders.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across BD, Marketing, Communications and Insight.
  • Preparing briefing notes on topical issues for client meetings.
  • Contributing to business planning and identifying cross‑practice opportunities.
  • Assisting with content creation and distribution as part of the firm’s content strategy.
  • Supporting research projects to ensure clear objectives and actionable outputs.
  • Ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date matter and contact information across systems.
