A leading international law firm is seeking a proactive and collaborative Client Relationship & Business Development Executive to join its Client & Marketing team. The firm operates across the UK and internationally and is recognised for its commitment to social impact, fairness, and inclusive growth. Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationships
- Maintain and update key client information following partner and sector team meetings.
- Coordinate client listening activity, including outreach for interviews and tracking follow‑up actions.
- Analyse client feedback using internal tools and share insights across the business.
- Build and manage client surveys, track responses, and report on themes and trends.
- Work with central teams (e.g., bids, events, directories) to integrate client feedback into wider initiatives.
- Produce monthly and annual reports, presentations, and updates for leadership and sector groups.
- Log activity in the firm’s CRM system and keep internal strategy pages up to date.
- Build strong market awareness, monitoring trends, competitor activity, and opportunities.
- Develop understanding of the firm’s services to support lead qualification and pipeline management.
- Assist BDMs with strategy execution, planning, budgeting, and ROI analysis.
- Contribute to clear, insight‑driven reports and recommendations.
- Support training and guidance for colleagues on BD tools and best practice.
- Help develop compelling BD materials, pitches, and capability statements.
- Collaborate with marketing specialists to raise the firm’s profile through content, social media, and campaigns.
- Support events, sponsorships, and webinars alongside the Events team.
- Encourage lawyers to maintain accurate and engaging website content.
- Provide insights and constructive challenge to BDMs and CR colleagues.
- Mentor BD and Marketing Assistants, offering opportunities for development.
- Work collaboratively across the wider Client & Marketing team and with other business services teams.
The successful candidate for this role will have previous business development and/or client relationship experience in a professional services environment.
