A leading UK law firm with a strong reputation for high‐quality work, complex matters and a genuinely supportive culture is seeking a Senior Bids Executive to join its growing team. The Business Development & Marketing function is an award‐nominated, high‐performing team that partners closely with partners and fee‐earners across the firm. The team is innovative, forward‐thinking and committed to delivering best‐in‐class BD support.
- Lead and enhance the firm's bids and pitch process, acting as the central point of coordination and quality control.
- Produce high‐quality, persuasive proposals tailored to specific clients and opportunities.
- Use reporting, feedback and market insight to improve bid performance and embed best practice.
- Support the development and rollout of CRM referral modules, including training practice groups.
- Provide data‐driven insights to support targeting, pipeline development and strategic BD decisions.
- Contribute to client development initiatives, including key account management, client listening and pipeline support.
- Proven experience managing end‐to‐end bids, pitches or proposals within professional services (legal preferred).
- Strong project management skills with the ability to balance deadlines, quality and collaboration.
- Exceptional writing, editing and attention to detail, with the ability to translate technical content into compelling client‐focused messaging.
- Commercial awareness and understanding of partnership environments.
- Experience using CRM systems and/or proposal automation tools is desirable.
