This Business Development Executive opportunity sits in a leading US law firm and will play a key role in driving business development activities for the restructuring, funds and litigation teams. Working closely with the Senior Business Development Manager, this is a really exciting opportunity to come into an evolving firm and have the opportunity to work autonomously and progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to BD Managers and the Client Events Director on various BD, events, and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation and execution of client events and conferences, including logistics and coordination with attorneys.
- Support activities related to client relations and firm promotion, including media relations.
- Draft and produce attorney bios, practice profiles, brochures, and presentation materials.
- Assist with legal directory and award submissions.
- Conduct research on current and prospective clients using internal databases and other resources.
- Maintain client initiative and targeting trackers.
- Prepare drafts of pitches and RFPs, including executive summaries.
- Coordinate logistics for pitch/RFP production and delivery.
- Participate in matter maintenance of the firm\’s tracking system, including updates and data collection for directories and awards.
Personal Specification:
- Bachelor\’s degree required.
- 1-2 years of experience in a law firm, professional services, or business environment is a plus.
- Experience with Contact Relationship Management (CRM) systems is advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills and excellent communication abilities, including writing, editing, and presentation skills.
