We’ve been retained on an exclusive search with a growing Microsoft-focused technology organisation looking to appoint a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer.
The mission
- Design and support secure, scalable Azure cloud environments
- Help shape enterprise-grade Azure platform and Landing Zone capabilities
- Drive automation, Infrastructure as Code and DevSecOps best practices
- Support cloud transformation and modernisation initiatives
- Work across infrastructure, security, governance and platform engineering
The role
- Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions
- Support Azure Landing Zone deployments and governance frameworks
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Bicep, ARM or Terraform
- Develop and support CI/CD pipelines within Azure DevOps environments
- Implement Azure security, networking and identity best practices
- Monitor, optimise and troubleshoot Azure environments
- Collaborate closely with cloud, infrastructure and engineering teams
The profile
- Strong Azure infrastructure/platform engineering experience
- Experience working with Azure Landing Zones and enterprise Azure environments
- Good understanding of Azure governance, RBAC, IAM and security controls
- Experience with IaC tooling such as Bicep, ARM or Terraform
- Exposure to Azure DevOps, CI/CD and automation practices
- Scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, Bash or Python
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
