We have an exciting opportunity for a Surveyor to take a key role in the management of an established coastal estate, working on behalf of a prestigious client. This is a varied and rewarding position suited to a commercial or rural asset management surveyor who enjoys delivering a broad range of professional work. You will be responsible for providing a mix of estate management, valuation, landlord and tenant and wider professional services, alongside supporting infrastructure and property-related projects. The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to business development initiatives and play an active part in the growth of the team. You will be joining a collaborative and supportive team working across coastal, marine, and infrastructure assets. The workload is diverse, combining day-to-day estate management with more complex and specialist instructions, offering excellent scope to build your experience and develop strong client relationships. We are open to candidates being based from either our Leeds or Warrington office, depending on your preference. Main tasks:

  • Day-to-day management of a coastal estate across the North of England
  • Managing marine and infrastructure-related commercial lettings, including jetties, wharfs, bridges, tunnels, pipelines, cables, marinas and moorings
  • Undertaking rent reviews and lease renewals
  • Handling new enquiries and negotiating leases, licences, disposals and consents
  • Managing encroachments across the estate
  • Promoting and maintaining Health and Safety standards
  • Attending client, tenant and stakeholder meetings and events
  • Delivering professional services including estate management, valuation, and landlord and tenant matters
  • Supporting the identification and development of new fee-earning opportunities
  • Contributing to business growth through cross-selling of commercial and infrastructure services
  • Producing clear and accurate financial and client reports as required

What will it take to be successful? We are seeking a RICS qualified Surveyor with experience gained within a professional services or consultancy environment, and a strong understanding of the property market, particularly in relation to infrastructure and coastal assets. You will ideally have experience working across a range of property sectors, with the ability to manage multiple instructions effectively and deliver high-quality, client-focused outcomes. A sound working knowledge of relevant legislation, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, will enable you to manage a variety of complex and interesting cases. You will be a confident communicator, commercially aware and comfortable building and maintaining client relationships, while taking ownership of your work and contributing to wider business objectives. A proactive, collaborative approach and a full UK driving licence are essential for success in this role.
