We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate Infrastructure Surveyor to play a leading role in delivering advice to major transport and infrastructure clients, with a particular focus on the South and Southeast. The role will be based out of our West Malling office; however, due to the nature of the portfolio, the successful candidate will be required to travel. Flexible working is encouraged.
Responsibilities
- Leading the delivery of high‑profile infrastructure projects across rail, road, energy and transport, providing strategic and tactical advice on land acquisition, compulsory purchase, compensation and valuation matters including nationally significant schemes.
- Negotiating land acquisition, options, leases and compensation/disturbance claims following works.
- Managing statutory processes including CPO, access consents and third‑party land rights.
- Developing new business opportunities, strengthening client relationships and contributing to regional growth initiatives.
- Leading, mentoring and managing surveyors, supporting professional development and high performance across the team.
Qualifications
- Ideally you will be RICS qualified (MRICS) with extensive experience in infrastructure and/or property consultancy.
- Experience in delivering and managing multiple infrastructure projects, ideally including CPO and compensation work, is essential to the role.
- You will be a confident leader with proven experience managing and developing high‑performing teams.
- This role requires you to be commercially minded, with strong client, stakeholder and negotiation skills along with being highly organised, analytical and comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, flexible environment.
- A full UK driving licence is required.
