Job Description Senior Private PA / Executive Assistant to CEO /n /n Location: Central London, based at the employer’s private residence /n Salary: £60-70,000 plus per annum, depending on experience /n Hours: 9:00am–6:30pm, Monday to Friday Flexibility is required to accommodate the international schedule and the changing demands of a senior private PA role. Candidates should be comfortable adapting their working hours when needed. /n Start date: As soon as the right candidate is available /n Languages: Fluent English required; spoken French is an advantage /n /n We are seeking an exceptional Senior Private PA / Executive Assistant to work within a private household in Central London, supporting a CEO who is based in Switzerland and travels frequently. /n /n This is a substantial, independent role combining private PA duties, executive support and financial administration. You will manage a varied workload largely on your own, take ownership of tasks from start to finish and ensure that important details are checked and followed through. /n /n The successful candidate will be discreet, highly organised and comfortable working in a private home. You will anticipate requirements, manage competing priorities and exercise sound judgement about when to act independently and when to seek approval. /n /n Key responsibilities /n /n Private PA and executive support /n /n /n - Manage complex diaries, appointments, meetings, correspondence and day-to-day priorities. /n - Coordinate travel and related arrangements, checking details carefully and taking account of established preferences. /n - Provide administrative support across the CEO’s business, personal and family matters. /n - Prepare reports, documents, spreadsheets and briefings to a high standard. /n - Liaise with advisers, suppliers and service providers, following matters through to completion. /n - Maintain accurate records and organised electronic filing systems. /n - Identify scheduling conflicts, missing information and potential problems early, and propose practical solutions. /n /n /n Financial administration /n /n /n - Maintain budgets, expenditure records and accurate financial spreadsheets. /n - Undertake day-to-day private and business bookkeeping and reconciliations. /n - Prepare payments for approval and monitor their completion. /n - Organise financial documents and information for accountants and other advisers, including material required for VAT returns. /n - Track outstanding invoices, payments and financial queries, escalating anything that requires a decision. /n /n /n About you /n /n /n - A minimum of five years’ relevant experience as a Private PA, Executive Assistant or Family Office Assistant supporting a senior executive or principal. /n - Experience working in a private household or managing substantial private affairs alongside executive responsibilities. /n - Proven ability to work independently, manage a demanding workload and take responsibility for results. /n - Strong numerical ability and practical experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations or financial administration. /n - Excellent written and spoken English, with confident and professional communication skills. /n - Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling travel, schedules and financial information. /n - Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel. /n - Sound judgement, initiative and the ability to remain composed when priorities change. /n - A high degree of integrity, discretion and respect for confidentiality. /n - A strong employment history supported by verifiable professional references. /n - An undergraduate degree is preferred. Spoken French would be welcome but is not required. /n /n /n You will be resourceful, personable and comfortable working in a private household while supporting a CEO with an international schedule.
