Cartan Trade is currently recruiting for a Risk Underwriter to join our team in London. The successful candidate will be part of the Northern Europe Risk team, underwriting and monitoring both UK and export risks with the view to supporting Cartan Trade’s profitable growth.
Responsibilities:

Monitoring companies (“buyers”); proactively reviewing buyer information and system-generated alerts with the view to keeping our risk stance updated

Produce ad-hoc internal documentation to analyse, discuss and validate risk strategy on sensitive buyers

Ad-hoc meeting with buyers to collect financial and non-financial information

Underwriting credit limits for clients and prospects, for whole turnover, top up or single risk enquiries

Attending ad-hoc meetings with brokers, prospects and/or clients

Monitoring industry, economic and political trends, both in the UK and abroad
