The Problems You’ll Solve
- Build, cultivate, and nurture high‑value relationships with key legal professionals and teams across our target firms.
- Strategically increase Carta’s influence within partner firms, engaging multiple influential individuals and teams across seniority levels.
- Develop, manage, and drive two‑way referral opportunities with internal sales teams.
- Screen, analyze, and negotiate new strategic partner opportunities, ensuring alignment with business goals and favorable commercial outcomes.
- Represent Carta at industry events, deepening relationships and identifying new collaboration avenues.
- Serve as the internal point of contact for legal partner relations, collaborating with product, marketing, and legal teams to deliver value to partners.
- Accurately record partner engagement and activity data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), tracking success against clear business outcomes and referral metrics.
About You
- 7+ years of professional experience working in private markets.
- Collaborative and able to work effectively across internal teams (sales, marketing, legal, etc.) to achieve shared goals.
- Exceptional organizational skills, comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Proficient with CRM systems (specifically Salesforce) for pipeline management and partner engagement logging.
- Highly organized, structured, and detail‑oriented; committed to efficiency and accuracy across all tasks.
- Thriving in a high‑growth, high‑velocity culture with high ownership, accountability, and shifting priorities.
- Confident and enthusiastic communicator, serving as an engaging ambassador for Carta during external engagements and conferences.
- Established network of contacts within the venture capital community.
