The Problems You’ll Solve

Carta Law represents a unique opportunity: we're establishing a category and shifting how private capital firms think about legal and compliance operations. Your content will be mission‑critical to that effort. You'll work in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment where your work directly influences pipeline generation, win rates, and how the market perceives Carta Law's competitive position. Sitting in our Insights & Content org, you'll own the development and execution of audience‑led content that supports Carta Law's most critical business initiatives through the funnel.

Working within the strategic direction set by leadership, you'll be responsible for creating timely, accurate, and high‑impact content specifically tailored to legal and compliance leaders in our target market—General Counsels, Chief Compliance Officers, and Heads of Legal at enterprise private capital firms. Your work will span the full spectrum: from top‑of‑funnel thought leadership and educational content that establishes Carta Law as a category leader, to mid‑funnel demand generation content that resonates with buyer personas, to sales enablement and customer stories that help convert prospects into clients. You'll also identify opportunities to test new content formats and approaches that differentiate Carta Law's positioning in the market.

You’ll work to:

  • Develop and execute content campaigns that move key buyer personas from awareness through consideration to deal acceleration—using the messaging, channels, and formats that actually resonate with them.
  • Create original, authoritative content that establishes Carta Law's category leadership, including flagship research (e.g., Global Compliance Report), case studies and customer outcomes, policy perspectives on regulatory trends, and thought leadership that positions Carta Law's unique value.
  • Build and optimize content for tiered ABM campaigns targeting enterprise PE firms, ensuring messaging ladder from awareness plays (brand/thought leadership) through consideration (product differentiators) to acceleration (social proof, customer stories, integration benefits).
  • Develop sales enablement and customer marketing content that supports both direct Carta Law pipeline and cross‑adoption between Carta Law and Carta's ERP for private capital (e.g., Fund Admin, Valuations, Tax, etc.), helping sales teams move deals forward and existing customers discover expanded value.

The Team You’ll Work With

At Carta, the Insights & Content team plays a vital role in shaping the company’s brand, messaging, and public affinity. Their responsibilities typically span several key areas including Content Marketing, Social Media, Influencer Relations, and Data Insights. Together this team is Carta’s storytelling engine – responsible for communicating the company’s story and impact, both internally and externally, in a clear, compelling, and consistent way that supports business goals and builds trust with stakeholders.

About You

  • Deep understanding of legal technology and private capital dynamics. You know how GCs and CCOs think, what credibility looks like to them, and understand PE/VC concerns around legal automation, AI, and regulatory risk.
  • Full‑funnel content strategist and executor. You develop strategy and execute—translating business objectives into concrete plans and owning content creation through optimization. You don't just recommend; you create with intention.
  • Proficiency with AI‑powered content tools. You're comfortable collaborating with AI tools and know how to leverage them to scale production, test variations, and personalise for different buyer personas while maintaining editorial judgment.
  • Track record with thought leadership and original research. You've built market credibility through authoritative content—research reports, policy briefs, expert interviews—that wins peer validation.
  • Data‑driven mindset with strong cross‑functional skills. You optimise content performance through the funnel and work effectively with product, sales, and marketing teams to align on strategy and execution.
  • 7+ years of experience developing and executing content strategies in B2B technology, financial services, legal tech, or fintech spaces.
