The Debt Recovery Paralegal will support the team in managing a varied caseload of debt recovery matters. The role involves liaising with clients, drafting legal documents, and ensuring accurate case progression. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and an interest in civil litigation and debt recovery.
Responsibilities will include:
- Manage a mixed caseload of debt recovery files under supervision
- Monitor case progress, ensuring deadlines are met and actions taken promptly
- Act as a point of contact for clients, debtors, and third parties
- Provide updates to clients on case progression
- Draft and prepare legal correspondence
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, court rules, and internal procedures
- Prepare bundles and documents for court hearings
- Maintain accurate case records and update case management systems
- Process incoming and outgoing communications efficiently
- Support the wider legal team with general administrative tasks
