Here at Carshalton College, we are seeking a Centre School Administrator to provide administration support to the Head of College Administration and curriculum staff in order to support the effective management and delivery of the curriculum. You’ll work in a team and liaise with curriculum staff and cross-college services on student and staff matters and manage enquiries and administration tasks relating to courses/exams. You’ll provide effective and flexible support for ad hoc business tasks and events such as those linked to enrolment, progression and admissions within each Centre. Reporting to the Head of College Administration & Exams, you will create, review, and update all school timetables within EBS, ensuring that all timetabling is accurate as per timetabling guidelines and deal with queries from awarding bodies, curriculum areas, students, parents and other stakeholders, undertaking correspondence when necessary, and troubleshoot problems. This role would suit an individual who has experience of providing strong and effective administrative support within a fast-paced environment and who can work effectively under pressure, adhering to strict deadlines. With a high level of computer literacy, you’ll be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, and be able to build relationships across teams to deliver tasks effectively. We’d also like you to be educated to GCSE/Level 2 including English and Maths. Experience of working effectively in a curriculum setting is desirable, as is experience of liaising with and supporting students, parents/carers and staff and achieving successful resolutions to enquiries. Closing date for the return of completed applications is 13th March 2025.
