The Role

Cars2 is seeking a high-caliber Group Fleet Manager to lead and expand our passenger car fleet operations. You will be the driving force behind our B2B strategy, managing relationships with local businesses, national leasing companies, and public sector organizations across our multi-brand portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Growth: Develop and execute a group-wide fleet sales strategy to hit volume and profitability targets across all brands, including our new EV-focused manufacturers.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for major fleet accounts and Contract Hire/Leasing companies, ensuring industry-leading service levels.
  • Pipeline Management: Proactively prospect new business opportunities within the West and South Yorkshire regions and beyond.
  • Tendering: Lead the preparation of professional tender responses and corporate presentations.
  • Brand Liaison: Maintain strong relationships with manufacturer fleet departments.
  • Product Knowledge: Act as a subject matter expert on Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax, EV infrastructure, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to advise corporate clients.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Proven Track Record: You must have significant experience in Fleet or Corporate sales within the automotive industry, ideally at a group or multi-site level.
  • Networker: A strong existing network of contacts within the UK leasing and corporate sector is highly desirable.
  • Analytical Mindset: Comfortable using CRM systems and data to track KPIs, market trends, and stock requirements.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at a 'C-suite' or Procurement Director level.
