The Role
The purpose of this full‑time role is to support the Service Manager in the supply of parts stock for the dealership and to cover all aspects of the parts department in order to support the dealership team. In addition to the parts department, the role involves ensuring the smooth running of the service department and assisting wherever needed, including handling customer interactions face‑to‑face and over the phone.
Skills required
- Identify and verify parts stock and other goods from suppliers for quality, quantity, and description.
- Receive items into the department and correctly locate them in established bins and other locations.
- Accurately identify, locate, and pick parts for workshop staff and customers using knowledge, parts catalogues, and computer stock lists.
- Conduct all transactions with workshop staff and customers pleasantly and courteously, with an emphasis on customer service.
- Work within agreed discount structure and customer terms, including credit withdrawal.
- Seek ways to increase parts and workshop sales by identifying customer needs and incremental items to sell.
- Enhance the reputation of the company at every opportunity when interacting with others.

Entry Requirements
- At least 16 years of age.
- 5 GCSEs at grade A* to C (or equivalent), including Maths and English. Science and ICT desirable.
